Running for Office
Current Status — President & Vice President are fixed roles. These positions are not currently available for election.
LibertyCraft has a government system that relies on community involvement and elections. If you want to be a part of the leadership, you can run for office.
Requirements
- Must be a Citizen or higher rank.
- Must have played on the server for at least 2 weeks.
- No active bans or recent warnings.
- Must be active in the community.
Offices You Can Run For
See the Server Roles page for what each office does. Common elected positions:
- President — head of the server government (not currently available)
- Vice President — second in command (not currently available)
- Senator — legislator and community advocate
- Speaker of the House — leads legislative sessions

Election Cycle
Elections are held every 4 weeks for most government positions.
- Week 1: Candidates announce and campaign.
- Week 2: Debates and town halls.
- Week 3: Voting opens for 3 days.
- Week 4: Results announced, transition of power.
How to Register
To run for office, use the /election register <office> command in-game. You will be added to the ballot and receive a campaign kit.
Campaigning
Candidates are encouraged to:
- Post campaign messages in Discord (#campaigns).
- Host events or giveaways to build support.
- Debate opponents respectfully.
- Make promises you intend to keep!
Tip: The most successful candidates are active builders and friendly community members.
Voting
All Citizens and above can vote using /election vote <player> during the voting period. Each player gets one vote per race.
Results & Terms
- Winners serve a 4-week term.
- Terms can be renewed if re-elected.
- A player can hold only one government office at a time.
