Ban Appeals

Got banned? Think it was a mistake, or ready to own up and come back? LibertyCraft gives every player a fair shot at appealing through an official form reviewed by staff.

How to Appeal

All ban appeals are handled through our official Google Form. Do not DM staff, ping in Discord, or open random tickets for appeals — they will be redirected here.

👉 Submit a Ban Appeal

What to Include

A good appeal gives staff everything they need to make a decision in one read. Include:

  • Your exact Minecraft username (case-sensitive)
  • Your Discord username
  • Approximate date and time you were banned
  • The reason given when you were banned (the message shown on the disconnect screen)
  • Your side of the story — what actually happened, with context
  • Why you should be unbanned — acknowledgment of what went wrong (if anything) and what changes

The Rules of Appealing

Appeals are a privilege, not a right. To be taken seriously:

  1. Be respectful. Staff are volunteers. Insults, threats, or attitude in your appeal = instant denial.
  2. Be honest. Lying or leaving out details that staff already have logs/screenshots of will get your appeal thrown out and may extend your ban.
  3. One appeal at a time. Spamming the form or submitting multiple appeals for the same ban will get them all ignored.
  4. No begging. "Pls unban I'll be good I swear" is not an appeal. Explain your case like an adult.
  5. No alts. Do not join on an alternate account while banned — this is ban evasion and turns a temp ban into a permanent one.

What Happens Next

  1. Your appeal lands in a private staff channel.
  2. Staff (usually Dmorgs81, STNPlayz, sarahhtherat, or TobyHere_) review the appeal alongside server logs, chat history, and any screenshots/recordings.
  3. A decision is made — approved, denied, or reduced (e.g. perma → 7 day).
  4. You'll be contacted on Discord with the outcome, usually within 24–72 hours.

Possible Outcomes

  • Approved — Ban lifted, you can rejoin. Don't waste the second chance.
  • Reduced — Your ban length is shortened based on the circumstances.
  • Denied — Ban stands. You may be allowed to re-appeal after a cooldown period (stated in the response).
  • Permanent denial — For severe offenses (hacking, doxxing, repeat offenses), the ban is final.

Final Notes

Bans exist to keep LibertyCraft fun and fair for everyone. If you genuinely made a mistake and own up to it, you have a real shot at coming back. If you try to lawyer your way out of clear-cut rule breaks, expect a denial.
